    Radiator from a 96 gt in a 95?

My original ten year old stock radiator didn't keep it cool either, but the new stock radiator has worked great for four years now. Much better than the high flow, all aluminum radiator I used for a year. I noticed that many people compare cooling of the old stck radiator to a new high flow...

    Radiator from a 96 gt in a 95?

I'm .030" over and at about 400hp and will just keep the stock radiator. If it was me, I'd put the nearly new stock radiator in and see how it works. I don't see how .060" over is going to make any significant cooling issue. I also have a manual, AFR 185 heads, LT headers and tubular GT...

    Radiator from a 96 gt in a 95?

Consider using a new stock version. I now run a stock radiator in my 95 351w. It not only cools better than the high flow aluminum unit, but is lighter and gives more room for the fan. I did have a high flow water pump, which was used with both radiators. I have a (warranty replacment)...

    Convertible Top Replacement!

I replaced the front upper and lower tacking strip. reused the rest. Bought an air stapler from Norther Tool and stainless steel staples. I could not get stainless steel in one of the sizes, so went with standard. Used contact cement from Lowes. My only real problem was that the adhesive I...

    Replacing 95 AODE

If you can pick up my old 95 auto tranny from Burlington, NC, you can have it. It worked great when removed several years ago with 80K miles on it.

Cruise Control on Fox style throttle body HELP

Can the cable, or the entire assembly be replaced without removing the fender? I have the entire assembly, but it seems that at least the wheel and fender liner will have to be removed so I've put off installing it.

Tech talk, 5.0 HO vs LSx...

I've had four fox body 5.0's. I had a 93 low mileage limited edition and realized that I did't want to mod it to go faster, so I got a 97 formula auto that had some pcm work and slp exhaust. It was very faster that the fox and cheaper to buy. My son got it from me and I got a 97 trans am ws6...

    GT-40 intake hood clearance?

The gt40 intake will fit with the right after market stb. The explorer version will require cutting down the front bolt flange to keep the bolt head from rubbing. It will not fit with spacer.

    351+ Swap RI Emissions

I'm in NC and we have a visual emission's test. I installed cats and air pump (cats will clog without air from pump, or so I'm told). I have afr 185's, which may have air holes. Don't remember, I had a 5.0 air pump pipe widened to fit the heads. However, when running the 5.0 with GT40P...

    Mishimoto Radiator user feedback

It was a very tight fit, where as the stocker moves quit a bit. If Mishimoto replaces it (this was my first replacement because the neck leaked out of the box), I'll probably go through the hassle of installing it. If not, I'll try my stocker (replacement with life-time warranty) and see how...

Is the catalytic converter heat shield important?

I see it as important because it keeps the carpet from getting to hot and probably helps keep dry leaves from catching on fire.

    Mishimoto Radiator user feedback

My Mishimoto radiator leaked after about 2000 miles driven in 16 months. Actually, I had suspected a leak a while back but it took being in a Christmas parade to know I had a leak. I put the pressure testes on it, and the coolant flowed out the leak. I put my old stock radiator back on and...

    #8 Fuse popping

I unplugged the keyless entry module and the short went away. Plugged back in to verify. I'll replace the module. For anybody whois interested: I made a short tester using blown fuse. I soldered two wires to it and connected the other ens to my test light. I plugged the tester into the blown...
