    Question regarding power source

That might be an idea but for right now I don't mind pulling it out every time  Besides, I have so much crap hiding behind my radio and under the center console due to the Sirius Sportster and the FM Modulator Relay I just got to eliminate static. Thanks guys :nice:

    Question regarding power source

Hey everyone, I just noticed the other day that even when my car is turned off, anything plugged into the power source (the outlet by the shifter) is still on. I noticed this on my Sirius Sportster - even though the car is off, the red standby light remains on. My question is if this drains...

    Air Conditioning in the Winter

Maybe I'm an idiot  , but I need to ask the question: Is the paragraph above saying it's normal not to have the same charge in the winter than in the summer?

    Air Conditioning in the Winter

Yeah, sounds pretty stupid, huh? My concern is that it'll make it to the springtime and then this will become an issue. We'll see I guess. I'm hoping it's mind over matter like Steve and Black GT said.

    Air Conditioning in the Winter

Hey everyone, it's been a while since I posted on here and it's good to see the site still going strong... Anyhow, I got a question regarding my A/C. Just for kicks I attempted to put the air on today to make sure everything is still working b/c the car's up for sale :( and I found that the...

    quick "Overheating" question

What exactly does getting a 180* thermostat do? Does it trick the engine into thinking it's running cooler than it actually is? How does that work?

    quick "Overheating" question

Well, I let the car run when I got home and the fan did come on right as the gauge went to the "A", so it did take a while. I think I might get that ECT anyway if it's only a couple bucks. Is it normal for the fan to come on so late?

    quick "Overheating" question

Thanks for all the replies fellas. I think I'm gonna let it run in the driveway until it gets hot to see if the fan comes on, and then take it from there. Thanks again for the help :nice:

    quick "Overheating" question

Thanks for the quick reply Jinx....I took it to my mechanic last year when it was showing the same symptoms and he swore nothing was wrong and the fan came on when it should've. Since then I got a new radiator and water pump, so I'm thinking I can rule those out, but who knows.

    quick "Overheating" question

I did a couple of different searches but most of the overheating questions weren't in the 4.6 section, so I figured I'd give it a shot here... Car temp radically increases when idling (i.e. going from the "R" to the "L" on the NORMAL gauge when just sitting at a red light for more than 30...

    Code Question (SES)

Hey everyone, I did a search on this and I really haven't found an answer so I'm giving it another shot... I ran to Autozone to get the computer scanned and it showed P0136 - which to my understanding means failure of the passenger rear O2 sensor. I have an offroad H with MILs. The MILs have...
