I'll put my money on a "dirty" MAF sensor. Experienced the same symptoms (clatter on WOT, no horsepower). Cleaned the MAF with contact cleaner, and now she runs like the proverbial "Raped Ape"! :D

Yep....speedo & tach works great...so I'm not totally "broken". But I *DO* base my MTBF (mean-time-between-fills) on mileage.

98 GT - A couple of days a ago, I noticed that the trip odometer had stopped working...so I reset it to zeros. That's when I noticed that the odometer had stopped working as well. :bang: What are some of the "easiest" things to check first? How big of a PITA is this to fix? :shrug...
