Which supercharger for my current setup?

Okay can someone chime in and tell this guy that a power pipe will put you up some boost....It won't spin the blower faster or anything like you keep refering to with the pulleys but your boost guage will read more boost.

Which supercharger for my current setup?

Yeah I was talking to you but I was talking about cvtv...he made the comment about the what the tech told him and you were refering to what the tech said when you made your comment. What do you mean how does a power pipe add 1-2lbs???? Do you know what a powerpipe is? Most powerpipe...

Which supercharger for my current setup?

I was talkin about cevtv...he was the one that made the comment. Oh by the smart guy are you running a Novi 1000? Well I am and a power pipe is worth 1-2lbs....do the math.

Which supercharger for my current setup?

Too free flowing??...he's only got an intake. Guys with good flowing intakes, heads and cams still atleast see 4lbs. With just the intake he'll see 5lbs and a powerpipe will put him to 6-7lbs.

Which supercharger for my current setup?

LOL....I think they're were just trying to get you to spend more money on a Novi 2000. Anyways....if want proof go over to superchargerhelp.com and ask them the kind of power they're making with this little blower. I'm running box stock edelbrock performer heads and intake, 65mm/75mm, shorty...

Which supercharger for my current setup?

No there's lot of guys running 10:1 and having no troubles..... Novi 1000 would probably be better cause your not planning on going high with boost, and they come with a 8 rib pulley setup and aluminum discharge tube and on average are cheaper....The SC is similar without the stuff mentioned...

    typhoon intake

It's acctually the equivelant of the RPM....I had ported GT-40 heads on and a B-cam, TB etc. (same as you) and when I put on the intake I picked up 2-3 mph

Typhoon Upper intake fit a Edelbrock lower?

Yes they are the same.......except that the Typhoon is like the RPM in that it will have to long bolts running from the top instead of that one inside of the intake (don't worry your lower is already drilled for them)

    What hood do I need?

I'm wondering the same thing. If you used the HPM drop mounts then I'm sure the 1.5" cowl will work.

HPM lowering motor mounts for a 351????

Does anyone have any experience with them? Did it tuck the engine under the hood alright...also what intake were you using? Anyone having issues with headers fitting or long tubes dragging? How close does the oil pan sit from the ground? Any other issues I should worry about? Thanks

what make a car 5.0 faster than another if they have same performance parts?

Exactly what these guys have all said, he may be powershifting and you not etc. but if you went on a dyno you'd probably be making close the same power unless somethings wrong or your engine is just really worn

Who has the Powerful daily driver

Not sure of the HP but I run at 119.5 mph which should be between 420-500rwhp, my car also looks stock and runs all season tires(even at the track) because it really is a dailydriver and my times were done in complete street trim. stock bottom end and cam....box stock edelbrock heads and intake...
