does the stall of a torque converter just benefit from a stand still or does it stall every time the car shifts? thanks

my car's temp usually is 210 but when im in town sometimes it will go over that. the thermostat temp in it right now is 195. would it help if i got a 180 degree thermostat? thanks

is it possible to run side exhaust using flowmaster 40 series mufflers? like in the location they put the stock mufflers? can they bend a 3" pipe from the back of the muffler going back to the front to exit out in front of the back tire? thanks
