It's been a while since I've been on here. I had a nice engine build (550 lift cams , new pistons the works). And to male a long story short I paid the shop to fly cut my pistons and they didn't do it. Valves hit, pistons broke, cylinder walls were sliced and 7 grand went away like that...

Just for info you can bore them out that much but it leaves the walls a little thin. Not suggested.

Well I checked the Code, It said misfire in Cyl 3. . .So I changed the coil, and the plug and yes I did have the correct cylinder lol. . .But the miss and code are still there. . .

I just found out my mechanic adjusted the throttle stop screw on the throttle body. . .that wouldn't have anything to do with it? It was tightened a bit to put the idle at 900. It was a 700 before cause of the break in tune with these cams and wanted to shut off

I pulled all the plugs on the coils one by one and noticed a bigger miss with one unplgged. Thanks I will check it. Is it possible it came out of time?

Well, I don't know what happened now but I started my car up today, and before I put it in gear the motor started to miss and heard a large tapping sound. My check engine light is on and its got a large miss all the way through and car wont go over 10 mph. .. . any ideas?????
