Yeah I'm trying to get a handle on my door lock issues too. I have read jrichker's fix and I'm gonna go that route with his plan, but I want to try and remove the old actuator from the mount without drilling the rivet. Some mentioned they got them out easily by prying. What did you guys use...

LOL, well I'm currently driving my brothers 86 Capri 5.0 while my other cars are getting worked on.

Any other Capri enthusiast out there with an opinion? Is there anything I should be looking for when I get a closer look at the car?

I'm not towing the Capri, I will be driving it back if I buy it. From Kansas to North Carolina. Looking at the map from point to point its a about 1200miles. About 18 - 22hrs.

As soon as I get more info from the owner I will make my final descision. Then get a flight to Kansas and plot a driving route from Kansas to North Carolina.

Looks like I will be getting this Capri, but I need to do it before July 4 and drive it from Kansas to North Carolina...a long drive. Who wants to go?

Trying to get an idea of the drive to there, well the owner is about 2hrs away from Kansas City. He does have a rolling chasis of another Capri that use to be his race car.
