    For those with AUTO and NEW Gears...

    4.10s are fun untill you start to pack some HP. Once you get over 300 rwhp you wont need as much gear. I went back to stock gear with 365hp and 448 rwtq. I ran 7.75 in the 1/8 with a 1.75 60' (stock gear) If I had the 4.10s I would need a bigger set of slicks and stronger axles. 3.55s or...

    Gears and hp

    If you add 150 hp you wont need gears. In fact I ran better 1/4 mile times with stock gear because my car would shift into over-drive(6500rpms) just before the trap. With 3.27s my 60' were 1.75 with an automatic trans. Any more gear and I would need a larger slick.

    GREAT MODS...not

    The car seems to hook better and when I nail it at 1800 rpms; the bottle seem to hit right away. From an idle there is a slight hesitation then the tires seem to bump loose and spin a slightly more. My 60' go down.
