    Weird noise from motor! HELP!!

Take a pipe and put it up to the valve cover to try to hear exactly where the noise is coming from. If it were me, I would pull the valve cover and check it out, it could be a bad lifter also, like you said its hard to diagnose without hearing it. Do you have hardened push rods? Stock...

Good deal on a blower?? Help!

I had an SN-92 Paxton and it blew up on me. I agree that these old Paxtons are junk and are notorious for letting you down. If you can hold out and get a Vortech A-Trim, I definately would.

Install intake/TB/MAF now or wait for heads and cam?

Honestly, I would wait to install the intake and throttle body until you do the heads and cam, unless you have a manifold leak or something. Bolting an aftermarket intake to stock, untouched heads is really not going to help you out much, it will also take away some of your low end. Thats just...

    Weird noise from motor! HELP!!

Is the motor stock? Pull the valve cover and see if you bent a push rod. I definately agree, exhaust leaks won't sound like a clanking noise.

    Supercharger question

Oh, also, what else you may need is a good ignition system, I use a MSD 6BTM, but even just an MSD 6A box would be okay. I would also run a boost gauge and a fuel pressure gauge and a bigger intank fuel pump. Also if the kit doesn't have one, anything over 10psi should have a blow off valve...

    Supercharger question

I'm also partial to Vortech. Also 42lb injectors seem alittle big for that set up. With an FMU, 30lb injectors would probably be more than enough.

    stock head question

There actually is a plug available from Ford for it, but I don't remember the part number, maybe someone else on here does. But what I did to plug the hole was take the piece that was originally bolted into the holes and cut the tube off off them and bolt them back up to the head fliped over...

    Bearing question

If you spun a bearing, you definately need machine work or to replace parts. Sorry.

    Anybody have a line lock?

I have the Hurst one also, I also bought the Summit installation kit and you'll need a tube bender.

What Supercharger gives the most "whine" I want it!!!

Actually I didn't think that the SC trim was all that loud when I heard it, I could actually bearly hear it. I think the loudest supercharger I ever heard was my Paxton when it had a bad bearing. Seriously, I think the loudest I heard was a Procharger, but I don't think they sell entry level.

    AOD with B-cam

As long as you get the converter to match the power band of the cam, you'll be fine. I also agree with what was said above, gears will help out alot also.

    Your opinions

I agree with what was said above, go for the pulleys, if you have any problems, take them off. I had them on my '87 and I never had any problems. Also keep the A/C, I made the mistake of taking it off a long time ago while it was still working and have regreted ever since. Instead of getting...

    4 point harness install questions

If I'm thinking of the right thing, you can bolt it right to your seat, if you don't have a roll bar.

    Intake studs

Take 2 nuts and thread them on the stud and tighten them up against each other, and and put a wrench on the back one and start turning it like you're loosening up the nut, but the stud will come out because of the front nut. I hope this makes sense, because I'm not good with explaining things.

Adding Injectors to my Speed Density 87 with a blower? Help

I've had 24 lb injectors on my car with speed density with no problems other than a rich smelling exhaust. I just recently helped a friend put 24lb injectors on an '86 with speed density and it ran fine also. So I would assume the 30s would work also. I have a question for you though, you...

They're coolant lines into the EGR spacer, you don't need them anyway.
