    Screw-in studs

    Here, it costs $100 to machine heads for screwed in studs. I believe that the stud bosses must be machined also, to accomodate the thickness of the nut on the screw-in studs and to get them perfectly flat since they are castings. Not a job for the cordless craftsman. :(

    Deep aluminum trans. pans for C4's

    I replaced my stock pan with an aftermarket one with a drain plug. It also leaked-just a little. Come to find out that the shiney new 3/4" stainless steel bolts I bought for it were 1/16" too long for some holes. You can't tell, because they pull the pan up and torque nicely. :rolleyes:

    I even added a chrome Monte Carlo Bar for 12 extra HP (and so I wouldn't have to ever cut out and replace shock towers again). :D It's a Comp Cams XE268H hydraulic cam, not roller. Just roller rockers.

    Thanks. It's aluminum 5/8" x 0.040 wall tubing. We use miles of it at work. The difficult part is getting it endformed and bent correctly. I think that it would look good anodized or powder coated.
