    I would swap the distributor with your friends, if you have one....I had a similar problem a couple months ago, $10 distributor from ebay fixed it.

    from what I have read here at stangnet, the IAC/IAB (solenoid valve on the Throttle body) is not working. my car is doing the same thing, I have one on order, hopefully it will fix my problem. as for the belt, you'll have to search that one out, or get a string and measure, then just start...

    I tapped into mine by where they go into the trans tunnel, check there for the correct colors.......under the console, drivers side, by the radio connectors, should be a connector there with the right colors

    pretty sure it has straight cut gears, it sounds like every-other A, S, T trim I have seen......but if you go to vortech's website, it says helical.... I think its supposed to be SQ trim on their website that has the helical gears check out this vid....loud under the hood at first...

    its loud man.....I have the same one. I like the noise it makes, it is the loudest at idle and you don't notice it going down the road.

    its a Borg-warner adjustable. (the stock regulator never got above 30 either) I just dropped the tank, I guess I smashed the vent line when I put the tank in. Fuel pressure is still low though.......I check the power, I have 12 volts at the pump momentarily with the key on (prime), no leaks...

    its a autometer gauge.........car runs like crap....will idle, and go down the road very gingerly, but as soon as I give it some gas, it falls on its face.........adjusting the reg just a little makes it worse ( I can make it die with the regulator) and just barely better......

    stock tach not working after MSD install

    I already posted in the power-adders, with no replys...... I just wired in a MSD boost retard, and the stock tach quit working, is there a way to get the stock tach to work with the boost retard? I think its the green/yellow wire on the coil, can I just splice? thanks.

    new swap won't start----help please

    just to "close out" this thread...... I swapped the 2 & 6 injector with the 1 & 5, still had a dead miss in 2/6.....changed 2/6 plugs and wala! purrs like a kitten.....2 out of 8 brand-new plugs bad.....no signs of cracks or anything. thanks for all the inputs.

    is the pump running (priming) every time you turn the key on? try cycling the key on/off/on/off/on, then try to start...may help trouble-shoot a fuel pump/filter problem.....
