    Limp, have you used these guys? There prices are very good. I actually need another axle for my '55 T-bird build as well, but wont decide on the gears until after I drive it. I'm swapping in a 4 speed wide ratio Ford trans.

    Whats up Real? I've been looking for aftermarket and the only thing I have found is the Mustang wheels, but they are 6" wide and looking at the 5" that are on it now, not sure I have clearance on the '63. I may have to buy one and try it.

    nope, can't overtighten a ball joint. when it's off the ground does it turn side to side freely by pushing the tire? Is it power or manual steering?

    Mongo, you're still alive.:cool: Rick, put a battery switch on it if you're not using it much. And if that doesn't cure it you know the battery is NG. And a battery switch is never a bad idea. Oh, did you check the water in the cells? Just a thought.

    I just scored another wide ratio for my '65 E-pup and an 8" out of a '67 Cougar, it's a 2.79, not sure the 200cid will push it, but it's the same width so it's a good starting point.

    This is how mine is plumbed also. And it works very well, I just need to add an electric valve where that av186 is, right now mine is manual and I'm not quick enough to shut it off, it dumps a ton of sand every time I stop blasting.

    Hey old man, nice to see a couple of us are still alive. What's your current project? I've got 2 left in me. A '66 F-175 4x4 Mod and a slightly modified '55 T-bird, then I'm gonna drive-em 'til I die.
