    Approaching 70K miles

    I hit 70k over 2k miles ago, and I've got about 2.5k until I hit the last 30k with the KB 1.7L IC twinscrew. My car still runs great, but you have to keep on top of things. Just treat her right, and she'll treat you right. Matt

    75 mm vs 70 mm TB/plenum

    Another vote for 75. Even if you stay N/A, it won't hurt you. I ran around with a 75 before I put on the KB and was making 272/310 at the wheels with Steeda UD pullies, BBK LTs, BBK OffroadX,l Mangnaflow CB and Accufab 75mm TB w/ Accufab plenum. Matt

    A pulley makes the ratio that the blower turns. The larger the pulley, the slower and less boost it makes. That is why you go to a smaller pulley to turn the blower faster to make more boost. http://kennebell.net/superchargers/ford/gt96-03_2v/gt96-04.htm Matt

    I'm at about 400 RWHP/420 RWTQ. I run 285/40/17 Kumho Ecsta MXs at all 4 corners. I could probably hit 11s with a new clutch/pp, fortified rear, gears and sticky tires. Since it is my daily driver I don't want to risk breaking it just yet. Matt

    I think your "friend" is full of crap. I have almost 23k miles on mine in the last 14 months. The blower is turning slower with the 6# pulley than with the 9# pulley. How is that going to "hurt" the blower?????? Just get the KB and you'll have no regrets. At least I haven't. Matt

    Do you have cats? If so, then you could get copious amounts of water. I don't have cats and sometimes get some water from condensation. It is normal. Matt

    Oh, and to address your first post, those prices seem in line with what other shops are charging. As far as the $500 dyno tune, that is also in line, but you don't mention whether a chip comes with that $500. The shops I know include a SCT chip with that $500 tune. Matt

    I'm runnign a 400 rwhp / 424 rwtq stock engine w/ 9lb IC Kenne Bell. I'm careful NOT to rev it over 5,800 RPM and have had it on the car for almost 14 months and over 22,000 miles. It's a daily driver. I either have good luck, or good tune, or both. Matt
