What I did was, I put the front of the car on ramps, I put double sided tape under the front bumper and placed the chin spoiler in place. than mark/drill the holes for it. take the spoiler out cleaned the holes (so that there is nothing left between the spoiler and the bumper) put more...

finally someone did it. Can you give alittle bit of details please. I know you can buy the center consul parts easily but how did you connect the 01+ changer to the 99 harness. (did you just solder to the back of the unit?) Thanks Serkan

Wool? Cotton is what you are supposed to use. %100 cotton. Anyways I guess it is too late for this. I am sure the scrathes are not too deep and you will be able to get rid of them with mag. scratch remover. I don't think claybar will help with scratches tho. good luck.

I just tried it 2 hours ago and it works. In the fuse box under your dash, if you were sitting in the drivers seat it the one on the veryleft closest to you. Only temporary tho I don't know if it is always on.

Profile Clarius 640 is what I just installed and it is pretty good. It is 75x4 RMS @4ohm or 225x2 RMS @4ohm bridged. And it is like 150 shipped

Buy an "absorber" from pepboys or autozone put it infront of the hood scoop open close hood couple of times. It should suck in most of the water if not all.

Ok one more question. Does these wires carry the high signals? I read that the amp in the dash is for the tweeters (highs) and the signal is carried back to the rear amps for the mids/lows.

How about doing the oposite of this??? I want to use the factory unit and use a 4 channel amp and run front speakers and a sub or front and rear speakers. I know it can be done by using line out converters but I won't have any adjustability as far as fade or balance if I tap in to the data...

Some "nice quality" is a very wide range of amps. If I were you I would goto crutchfield.com and read about the amps and go buy it from somewhere else (cheaper). I bought Profile Clarius 75x4 @4ohm it is supposed to be a best for the money you pay kind of amp. I am still to install it tho.

I have 275's and they are almost like slicks right (I know it is not the smartest thing but I don't have the money to replace them right now) but don't have too much trouble. Just be really easy on the trottle and you should be fine. And AVOID puddles of water..... Also sometimes on empty...

Alright I think I will go with an aftermarket unit again. I already have an old cd player so I will just put that in for a while and this gets stolen again I will put everything stock. I would still prefer 6cd changer stock system to this head unit but I don't want to deal with whining noise...
