2000 GT not starting, just cranking

I went to start my car this morning and when I tried to start it it just continues to crank and not turn over. I can start it with starting fluid and it will stay running after that however, if I shut it off and try to start it again it won't start just crank. Visually everything looks fine...

    Cobra 13" brake question...

Thanks Thanks. I just wanted to be sure. The OEM GT setup, the pad sweeps the whole surface of the rotor so I was just wondering. Does the inner edge of the rotor get all rusty? Braking should be a lot better. I think it is Baer that has th 14" 4 piston setup but, it's pretty pricey. Prolly...

    Cobra 13" brake question...

I just purchased a Cobra 13" front brake kit for my Mustang. The pads that come pre-loaded with the Cobra calipers don't sweep the full surface of the rotor. They stop bout 3/8" from the inner edge of the rotor which is flush with the edge of the caliper. Now my question is, are the brakes...

    Falken Tires

They might. The Town Fair Tire near me matched discount tire directs on a set of Yokohamas for the Stang, matched plus the shipping price that is. The shipping price was figured to be round $50 or so. They weren't crazy bout it but did...

    Falken Tires

I too can attest to the frequent rotations w/the XE-512's. I have had to rotate them frequently also, maybe it's only a FWD (I have them on my winter car a Ford Probe GT) thing w/em' For the price, IMHO, they are the best all season tire. Good dry tracton, great wet traction and decent...

    Stock H-pipe removal???

Alright, I bought a Bassani X-pipe and am in the process of installing it as we speak. However, I have one slight problem. How in the hell do you get the lower passenger side nut off of the bolt connecting the exhaust mani. to the top of the H-pipe? There is about zero clearance between the nut...

    FRPP vs. Bassani BX catback?

Good choice :nice: I love my FRPP cat-back, for the price IMHO it's the best cat-back for the MGT. 2.5" mandrel bent (which is why there are no pinches)Stainless steel, can't beat that. With a nice X/H-pipe it uncorks it's great sound. I can't justify paying hundreds more for a system made out...

    GEFRacing - Good or Bad?

Same here but, at the same time one of my orders was "lost" and never got processed. Took a week of calling to find that one of the service reps had the order on his desk the whole time :nonono: I guess it evens out though and they have great prices.

C&L inlet tube question? VS. MAC CAI.

How does the 90 degree bend before the MAF make it run richer? How does the different placement of the filter throw off the MAF reading? I'd think that you'd get a denser charge getting it from the fenderwell than the hotter air of the bay and the MAF can't correctly compensate for it?

    Anybody have the FRPP catback?

I know I should dyno again to see what it gave me. Hell even if it only gave me 5~10 hp for the price of the system I'd be happy :) The bends around the axle are great compared to stock. It's mandrel bent as opposed to the crush bent stock exhaust so the piping is all the same diameter (2.5")...

    Anyone delt with GEF Racing?

Same here, so I guess thats not really a problem though :) Other than that they have great prices and good service. Whenever I had a question they were quick to answer and help in any way they could.

    Anybody have the FRPP catback?

:nice: I have the FRPP cat-back too and really like it. The quality is spot on and sounds great too. It's nice deep and loud but, not attention drawing loud. bigconig's video is what turned me on to the FRPP cat-back also. For the price the setup can't be beat.
