    If you are reading the line under "functional changes" then I think you are misinterpreting it. That section is telling you what is different from the '04. New suspension is referring to the V6 and the optional handling package is the GT. Thought the part that says (GT) I think is supposed to...

    What I meant was there won't be a 2005 Cobra but there will still be a SVT Mustang Cobra in the future. The name won't be changed to Shelby or be called the SVT Mustang.

    Still the same design team. The sv you are thinking of is the ST, and it is a 2005 Focus model. The name is NOT going away. There will be a next generation SVT Mustang Cobra. Again, call and ask them for yourself.

    Not sure where you're getting the brand numbers but according to Automotive News the 2003 sales for Ford Division was 2.88 Million vs. Chevys 2.46 million.
