i personally think mac makes good exhaust products. they sound really clean, and are loud as hell. I had a mac cat-back on my 99 until i ditched the irs, and now i have spintech with my solid axle. the sound is similar.

my buddy has an 01 w/ 4.10's and stock driveshaft. it drives fine.

just find a gt owner, or go to a junkyard. i swapped out with a gt owner.

yes, 99's will be every bit as fast as an 01. my car with x-pipe and cat-back, with stock filter, put down 297rwhp & 292 rwtq w/inside temps at the dyno of 96*.
