    In general, the benefits of the increase in airflow will be more than the loss due to hot air. The amount of hot air drawn into the engine will be minimal, though, while the car is moving since most of it will be removed from the engine compartment.

    N/A all the way. Although modding a factory S/C motor may be cheaper, but you can only go so far before you will have to upgrade the factory blower anyway. I like the option of being able to add a blower. I think Ford has taken the easy (cheap) way out by throwing a blower on anything they want...

    Thanks for the pics and the clip, v8only. I think there could have been a better choice than Flowmasters as well.I just don't like the sound of them. The do fit well though.

    The relevance is to the question: "who wants a 2004 even if it is a cobra..." Your point is why "most people" buy V6's instead of GT's. My intension is not to have a collectible, but to have something that is more exclusive. When (or if) the next Cobras are available, I'll probably get one...

    Congrats, Aibal. The Lightnings are definately some awesome trucks. You will be surprised how easy it is to get into the 12's. I just traded 2001 in a few days ago on a '04 Cobra, but I enjoyed every minute I was in the Lightning.
