does anyone know how to disconnect the factory alarm in the 98 Cobra. Unfortunately I had to sell my cobra, and it's being shipped to mississippi. I have to disconnect the alarm to put it on the truck. please please please tell me I don't need to take my dashboard out.

My 98 with 17x10.5's Iunno if it helps, figured I'd post it just incase it did.

iunno about the IRS bolt, but I have 17x10.5's on the rear of my 98. Running BF GoodRich Comp T/A Drag Radials 315/35/R17 so the 315 will be a tight fit but it'll fit on a 10.5 rim.

on a perfect road, i.e. drag strip the 96-98 Cobra should have the upperhand, but if you're going from a roll you aren't on a track, and therefore you don't have a perfect road or perfect weather cept for maybe a few days out of the year. The AWD in the WRX gives it a little bit of an upperhand...

yes, I do mean that a stock 96-98 cobra has no chance against an STI from a roll or a dead stop.

I know you all want to believe that you have the greatest cars on the road, hell I would like to believe the same. but from a roll or a dead stop you have 0 chance against an STI even with a bad driver. You got your hands full with just a WRX.

so i just bought new rims for my 98. Fronts are 17x8(stock) rears are 17x10.5. I am expecting to put a 305/35 or 315/35 set of Nitto 555RII's on the rears and keeping the stock rubber on the front. What if anything is this going to do to my speedo??? and does anybody know for certain if they...
