    yeah thats what I was getting at. I certainly agree though. The fastest and closest to stock car I've ever driven was a no options 87 coupe still SD, only mods were timing, gears, complete exhaust and slicks.

    Do you disgree that there's a ton of $10k 11 sec cars? I ran a 12.19 with $1200. looking back on that car I could have easily been in the 11's and stay under $1000.

    The "NPR" i the model of an isuzu box truck. There are two NPRs a big and a small. The small npr is one my street car and the big npr is on my drag racer. Keep your eyes out and you'll fnd a deal.

    Hell the way mine are you can just give them a little tug and the old ones are off due to the rust around the rivets. I'm a little confused. The pics show the trim that goes overtop but I pictured the door belt weather stripping (against the glass) which is where the rivets are.

    The first gears are close but the T5 still may be lower. Its certainly not worth the effort at this time unless you were going to stay with a 2.3. Even then I would swap everything together and deal with the A4ld as long as its alive.

    Thats all well and good for cars that run hot. Its just not needed in a 2.3T car. As for the comment that Stinger's kit is not aimed at performance??? There's some cars aking serious power and running great times with that kit. ....and drifting is gay....unless its in my dually.

    Ha if you go through all the painstaking effort we went through to prep it. I would certainly spray it for you...thats the easy/fun part. An honest opinion would be to do some insane prep work and use primer sealer. Then just get the Maaco embassador paint job for $200.

    Are you talking about mounting the the radiator at a different angle from the intercooler? I'm not following you otherwise. Personally I bet its not going to make a difference for any extra hassle. If your intercooler is getting "that hot" you need to reevalute the turbo you're running.
