    They'll fit...mine has 245/50r17 on ROH Snyper rims with stock springs. The only rubbing I had was lock to lock,and that was barely.. I've had the car loaded..3 people with luggage on road trips and had no clearance issues.

    You also may want to check the inertia switch in the back panel(next to the left tail light)and see if that didn't trip. Just a thought

    You are right....Spearco had one in the 80's,I looked at buying one when I was fixing up a '78 Pinto.I even did a search for them some time ago and couldn't find any info on them.A friend of mine had a catalog that showed one mounted in a pinto..it was a pretty neat setup.

    Make your own CAI,there is a "how to" at the top of the forum,I added a ranger roller cam, a ranger header and a 2-1/2 inch catback exhaust and flow pro-flow muffler(sounds nice,not ricey)I made my CAI out if 3"pvc pipe,added an elbow and mounted a cone air filter in the fender...

    I have a 90 stang,the turn signal flasher on mine is on the right side of the upper part of the console behind the radio,you may have to feel around for it..it's hooked to a bracket by a nub on top of the flasher,give a twist and it will release,unplug the old one and install the new...
