    Mustang w/ a Mustang

I got a chance to check out the Olympia Flight Museum today and get a photo with a P-51. Very cool experience. Thanks to those setting it up. :flag:

    Sneaky State Patrol

I've heard about a WSP white F-body Camaro driving around, but never around the I-5 corridor....until today. It looks like a white 91 Z-28 with chrome aftermarket wheels. It didn't look like the windows were tinted, and there is nothing to make it stand out as a police car or even a possible...

    Fuel Filter Replacement Question

I'm going through my Hayne's manual instructions to swap out my fuel filter. It is instructing me to use the fuel shut-off valve in the trunk and then run the motor until it cuts out to de-pressurize the system. I'm worried that this could harm the motor especially since I'm running a...

    Has anyone installed SFC's themselves?

I've got all of the equipment to install a set of UPR subframe connectors, except for a lift. Has anyone installed these using jackstands and if so, how did it go. I'm concerned since Maximum Motorsports is pretty clear that a lift should be used and that the car's weight should be on the...

    17"/18" wheel combo?

I'm kinda digging the raked look and am strongly considering keeping my stock wheels and tires on the front (17x8 w/ Nitto 555 245/45/17), but going to 18x10" rims with Nitto 555 285/35/18's out back. Is anyone running this or a similar set up? (Surely, somebody must be) Any problems or...

    Tire/speedo Question

Does anyone know whether the speedometer reads from the front tires, the rear tires or both. I'm going to a 18' rim (285/35/18 or 305/35/18) at the rears, but am going to keep the 17's (245/45/17) up front. The tire calculators I've looked at show that the speedometer will be very slightly...

    JetBrett 1, WSP 0

So I'm at my infraction hearing (77 in a 60) in Pierce County and the judge is all set to swear me in, listen carefully to my testimony and then of course convict me and collect the fine. I point out that the ticket wasn't filed within 2 days as required by Court Rule...denied. I then pointed...

"found a new turbocharger on e-bay for the bike"

I'm not so sure about the wastegate or the blow off valve though. :spot:

How's the quality on K&N oil filters

I've always gone with the OEM Motocraft filter and Amsoil 5w-20, but found a K&N oil filter cheap today. Anyone have any experience with the K&N? Are they just as good as the Motocraft filter, better, or is this something to stay away from?

    Saw a nice stang today

The commute up I-5 got more interesting today...at least until I got to Federal Way...when I came up on an 03/04 shadow grey vert with a white and silver flame job on the front. Anyone know who that was?

Hey, my window wont go up

My drivers side window motor took a crap on me today. (definately the electic motor) I took it to the dealership and got a quite of about $250 to replace the motor, but this seems a bit high. Has anyone ever replaced one of these? If so what's involved and how difficult is it and is it even...

    Pony Trails ride and drive

I'm still on the fence on going to the ride and drive on Thus. 7-15. What exactally do you do there? How much time to you get to spend on the track? Is it worth the $135 they are charging for a novice driver with a stock suspension? So many questions.......

    Yet another TOB question

Like a lot of 99+ mustangs, mine has a noisy throw out bearing. The clutch seems to be holding fine...for now. A replacement throw out bearing is about $30.00. Before replacing it -I'd rather not grease it- I'd like to know what is causing it to squeak. Does anyone know if it just a case of...

    Got Blown in Portland

Just wanted to say thanks to Jon and Paul for the time and effort installing my Kenne Bell blower. It was definately worth the drive down from Seattle. As for the blower, all I can say is holly sh%t.!!!!   My neck is still sore from the test drive, and who would...

Noisy throw out or pilot bearing

For about the past month I've been getting a metalic chattering/squeaking noise under the car when my foot is off the gas. It goes away as soon as I depress the clutch so I'm thinking the problem is likely a throw out or pilot bearing. Is this just another squeak to deal with in 99+ GT's (no...

    Do 04 GT's come with 3:55's?

I noticed in the recent MMFF that they list the 04 GT as having 3:55's. Am I missing something. I thought all 99 and up GT's had 3:27's while the Mach 1 and Cobra's had the 3:55's installed. Is that new for 04 or did MMFF screw up?

    Kenne Bell and Octane question

For those of you running the Kenne Bell 9psi kit, are you having to use an octane booster or can you run 92 octane gas without problems? The website seems to indicate that you need to use race gas or an octane booster above 6 psi, but all the articles about the supercharger seem to indicate...
