I had a Tri-ax on my last stang, it worked well
Now I have a Hurst Billet Plus Short throw, It is alot firmer than the tri-ax and is shaped like the oem shifter. Either one is a good choice though

I assumed since you changed your rear pads that you adjusted the parking brake also. A misadjustment can cause one side or both to grab. Also did you get the cheap little tool to adjust the parking brake spring? They sell it at any auto parts store. This tool allows you to align the pads...
I installed the hawk street pads on my last stang (00 Gt) and had no problems with squealing. I did replace my rotors at the same time with vented Brembos though. They did perform better than my oem ones. Bedding them in correctly is crucial. hope that helps :)
Found a used 01 cobra, might buy it. Please settle an arguement: Can an 01 cobra be run safely with Mid-grade or even regular unleaded gas. I say no, My brother says it doesn't matter. I know you guys can settle this :nice:
