    at 10psi it moves very swiftly..and at 15 its very fast. i didnt have anything to run it against yesterday but it impressed m,e enough to not want to sell it (but i still am) and every 2.3 i build here on out will have a Volvo head lol.......Hal

    Im selling it since i have a friend to pay back and its all i have worth selling.Id rather sell the car and pay him back then have him upset with me. I love driving it. Handles so nice and feels good with just 5PSI of boost. at 10 PSI it is as fast as the old setup with 20PSI......Hal

    I friend of mine welded it for me..i made the block, fiteed everything and after welding i milled it flat again. luckily it didnt kill a piston just bent 2 intake valves. the belt was loose and someone was helping and change my timing (i can phase the dizzy from my computer) and well they went...

    well i have a setback..its all my fault. I didnt have the tensioner set on the timing belt just had the pulley tightend holding it...well the engine back fired and jumped time..i should have it back together this weekend a few new intake valves and YAY!!!..lol............Hal

    It runs, ran very nice and smooth ,something has to be wrong..LMAO had an oil leak issue and fixed it so now i just have to add teh Intercooler pipes then ill let you all know how it handles boost and take a few videos.........Hal

    i figure with standalone even on a NA engine the Volvo head should be a great upgrade...the flow #s are way higher then stock, The ARCA NA engines are around 310-320 HP and this out flows up to 400 lift. I know the ARCA uses a lot bigger cam to get that power and this would drop off some but...

    Its an aluminum head.... The ignition is stock Dizzy with Accel wires, i bought the 8.8 custom fit and can make two sets from the V8 kit. they fit under the stock wire cover and run behind teh head under the intake so noone has to see them. very smooth and clean install..........Hal

    the head drops on a stock 2.3 block. i mod the head for all water and oil passages. i use undercut ARP head studs and made spacers for the 3 on the intake side where is a lil shorter.

    well finaly i was able to do a lil more to my whip yo. (Thnkyou to 40Bob) I bought an intake since i cant make anything for a while and now i need to it some where so i can finish the IC pipes,fuel lines,regulator,upper radiator hose,lower hose,and lil details then ill be ready to run..YAY..sux...
