    Threaded insert for head?

    I just tried to bolt up my P/S pump onto some aluminum heads and it doeasn't fit. The long bolt that goes through the braket and pump is 3/8" dia. The hole in the head is 7/16".     What were the stock and GT/GT350 coil springs rated at in 68? I'm thinking of going to a lighter spring and roller perches. Maaaybe progressive springs, but I don't like the idea of the transition point moving when I use aluminum heads.
