I've got an 89 LX hatch which i guess means i should have more room, but i want to run as wide as i can, traction is going to be a major concern for me when the car is finished

Whats the absolute widest you can go on a foxbody in the rear with wheels/tires? Quad shocks are removed, and i wouldn't be horribly opposed to rolling the inner lip of the quarter out of the way if it was worth it. Thanks -Joe

i thought about that, but that wont give me more space for rubber up front, ive looked into minitubing but for racing with turns you want to be as wide as possible, i dont think that the 1.5 inch per side looks bad, i think it looks ok, pic i wish i could get a picture of them on a lx hatch...

i got the ford racing 2 bolt block because i didnt hae a 5.0 block to start with, and I main girdled and valley girdled it as well as ground away all of the casting lines and sharp edges,(which for those who dont know makes the block substantially stronger), im goig with the cobra IRS more so...
