I installed new gears with the old shims and my pinion barely moves it is so tight. sounds like it may be rubbing on the differential assembly. Should I tighten more or loosen it up. Tried loosening but the nut just gets loose. Do I have to knock it back out after loosening with a rubber...

I first bought my 95 V6 for the gas mileage but turned out to suck. I have since changed to a 302 with mods (265 RWHP with auto) 14-20 mpg best then changed out to a 5 speed with 17-22mpg and it screams power. I've been thinking about doing it again and this thread has helped. Like good gas...

I wonder if it is because of the larger intakes and injectors or the heads being different. But for the vert I've got no idea. Anybody know?

So why does it say excluding the cobra with the kits. Why also does it say not for a convert? That kinda bites since I basicly have a cobra AND mine is a vert. What are the reasons????

I noticed that off the line it did have some really good torque. I guess different cams would be in order to really let it breathe.

What kind of difference did you feel with the mods. Today was my first test drive of the v6 and it didn't seem to have anything for the top end. Did these mods help?

Did the tool help put the bushings in too.

They are interchangeable but if you look they don't come with that bushing.

I tried posting this on the v6 area but there is not much talking there. Don't blame em I've been there before. Does anyone know if the bushing for the upper control arm where it connects to the differential- if the 7.5 diff. is the same size bushing as a 8.8 diff.???

Just to let you know this happens when ever you reset the computer. The car has to figure out how to idle again. I beatched about mine for a while and then one day. Gone. It took about 2-3 weeks of driving. I even did the 2min run, 2min off, 2min run with acc. thing to relearn idle. Just...

Mine came clean no fuzz. Didn't notice any kind of coating on it. Maybe they quit coating them and forgot to take that warning off the list. There were 10 in all.

Does anybody know if the bushings for the upper control arms on the differential side are the same size as the ones on 8.8 differentials???

Motor looks great! Just wanted to say watch out for that Power Force balancer. The numbers will rub off!!!!!! I got grease on mine and the nubers wiped off with the grease. It doesn't have indentions so when they are gone they are gone.

Ok. You've got more horsepower than me. I'll stand down. I just wanted to make sure and see if anybody else had done this.
