    the replacement astray door would not fix it...where the door mounts to the console is completely broken. The door itself is fine. I mounted the bottle in the middle so i could turn it on and off from the driver seat and also see the pressure gauge...i agree that it would look better somewhere...

    you'll get use to it...the more you do it the faster you get. I'm at the point now where the upper and lower intake can be off and back on the car in an hour and a half. Did you make sure all the vaccum lines are hooked up? Is the car holding fuel pressure? Did you drop the distributor back...

    People claim that the rear seats, seat belts, brackets, sound deading mat under the seats, and the center console armrest weigh close to 60 lbs. With the plywood and carpet I say I put close to 10 lbs back in it. Roughly a 50 pound savings???

    4.10 1/4 mile increase with AOD

    i cant tell you exactly how much you will gain but my car dropped .7 and picked up 2mph from a torque converter and gear change (2.73s to 3.73s)...id say atleast 3 to 4 tenths dropped in the 1/4. The guys that have already posted are right about the car being at 6000+rpm going through the traps...

    New LX, How fast?

    Its probably an easy 11 sec car even tho the combo is wrong. That intake is way too small for a car that has an e-cam with gt40 heads. Something like a cobra, gt40, trickflow street heat, or edelbrock performer intake would be alot better on a street car.

    My buddy's 100% stock 2002 Firehawk put down 319rwhp and 338rwtq. Like i've stated before my brothers 2001 T/A put down 326rwhp and 340rwtq with a slp loudmouth catback and a lid....those cars do put down over 300rwhp stock and some do it with ease. Compare a 347ci Ford motor with AFR heads...
