    Wheel hop with BBK control arms

    I have BBK lowers, boxed stock uppers with urethane on one end (Steeda style), & new Steeda quads (like $25/pr) & absolutely no wheel hop on street tires or slicks. Before this it was like driving over railroad tracks when I hit the gas.

    If you don't have it apart yet how can you be sure the journals are bad? Take it apart & inspect it then get prices from a couple reputable local machine shops & compare the quotes with mail order cranks after shipping. Some shops are serious rip offs (I unfortunately met 1) so ask your friends...

    Start the car. Put it in reverse. Drive to the west coast & back a few times. Leave it alone. I also live in NY & may want to buy that car someday. I would be damn pissed off to find out it was beat on for a couple hundred thousand more miles than it showed on the odometer.

    BFG 275/50/15 Drag Radials on a fox??

    At the track I run 27x10x15 slicks on 10 holes. Yes we got them on the wheels but I would never do it again. They are simply not wide enough. I would probably have been as well off using 235/60R15 drag radials.

You could always swap it for an aftermarket grind. 3.25 gears instead of the pathetic 2.73s & 3.08s in the gt's. They also had softer springs for better handling, yes I did say better.
