    i am doing a 5.0 swap into my 92 with a 5 speed 4 cyl, and i was wondering if the t5 bellhousing from the 4 will work with the 5.0, i plan on using the trans to get it going until i can upgrade, and someone told me the bellhousing would work but i need to know for sure

    stock injector size is 24 lb, you dont need to change them unless you add a power adder, yes your cobra has a posi, limited slip, or as ford calls it tracktion lok

    if its a 50 state car all you need to do is get it smogged in california and take the slip to the dmv, they will inspect it and register it, you should make sure it has the smog stuff on, ie cats, because texas doesnt have smog laws

    the 96-98 cars usually have around the same torque as horsepower mine for example is 288rwhp and 287 rwtq, my power mods are bbk off road h, magnapack catback, bbk pullies, drop in k&n, also 4:10's, to me your dyno numbers look accurate

    think about it this way, at 85 in 5th gear with 4.10's im about 31 or 3200 rpms, pretty high in a 5.0, but 4.30 add 200 rpm, 3.90 minus 200 rpm, with a redline of 6800, 3 grand isnt nothing, plus you will still get 20+ mpg, my last vegas trip i got about 25mpg averaging 85mph, for 220 miles with...

    they only use silicone to seal it, i would suggest you buy a gasket for it and then use silicone with the gasket, its not very hard to due, i put the gasket on mine sealed it with silicone and never leaked since and it should last a lot longer than just silicone

    you wont notice any lack of low end torque from one of these cars, coming from the 5.0, my car made 260+ from start of dyno at 2500, all the way to the end, much more than a stock 5.0, by the way i think 4.10's are a perfect daily driver gear, i have them but want 4.30's maybe 4.56
