    Yea mine doesn't look like that unfortunately, but I found it and put the IAC on no problems so thanks anyway. Now about that little black thing that spins on the top of it, what does that do? I've turned it while the car is on and nothing happened at all.

    Well I thought my IAC was going out on me again because I was getting all the same signs as I did last time it died (car starts, rpms go up as normal, but instead of stopping at idle speed rpm's fall until the car cuts off). How do I know its not the IAC? Because I just replaced it yesterday...

    No biggie, just whenever you can is fine with me. So as for my other Q, is it normal fro the IAC valve to only last for a couple of years and then die?
