No doubt that it was a good time, congrats on the car man! Wish I could have stuck around to see it on the dyno, had a 700 mile trip home. Not only is it a beast, but it looks amazing also! It was pretty cool driving in a pack of stangs on the way to the dyno. Great to meet everyone. Dale

I bought mine from Steeda just after I bought my car in 2000. Apparantly back then, Bassani used a different manufacturer for their cats. I am coming up on 29000 miles with no problems at all. I have heard that the new ones can trip the light.

Still haven't gotten that fixed? Kamran: Can't wait to see how it turns out. I've been thinking of what to do next to mine as well, and those mods are looking better and better to me. I was thinking of heading up that way ('bout 700 miles for me) someday, maybe I can work it out.

A little over 3000 miles here, and it runs great. The only problem I have is keeping the tires from spinning :) Edit: Never been to the track.

Mine is in the same place as yours CT, and it's a '00.

I'm not sure if there's any difference or not, but I ran 87 octane from day one. After I got the Mongoose kit installed and started running 93, I changed the filter a little while later (28k miles). I had planned on changing it at 30k anyhow.

That exact thing happened to me. I was using the pressure washer, and some of the paint on my front bumper flew off. Took it to the dealership, told them what happened, and they fixed it under warranty.
