    Gas Mileage Questions

    I got a 2001 with manual transmission. On average i get about 20 mpg. I drive to school in the morning, 2 min on highway, and then maybe 2 miles on back roads. Samething on the way home. In winter i get about 17-18 mpg.

    Ok, i dont like to admit it, but i occasionally grind my gears. I did it today again :bang: But the problem is that when i stop the car after i have done this, and start off in first by adding gas and slowly letting go of the clutch, the car shakes like crazy. Adding more gas doesnt help...
