    maybe a broken tailshaft... :shrug: upon acceleration or constant cruising speed, everything is held together by centrifugal force, the minute you left off, there it is... had this problem before in 2 of the ponies ive had... hope this helps

    good luck man im not sure about thebrake lines, but the c clips are in the pumpkin. you must remove the cover and push in on each axle, one at a time (unless u have really long arms) and reach in and magnetically remove the c lcip, youll see it.. it is easier if you have a buddy around to...

    i would agree that it is probably a code. get a haines manual and it will tell you troubleshooting codes and what they mean. i know a simple fix.... T-5 THAT BABY!!

    i have only heard bad things about the 4.2L truck engine, albiet a direct shortblock swap. everyone says its either a hunk of crap or a dog. either way.... but hey what could it really hurt to try it? :nice:

    We Want Our Own Room!! i said the same thing and no one ever replied, then i wrote to a moderator and basically all i got was a 'who cares?' i originally asked if we could make a forum for us or rename the current v6 forum. nothing. i own an 84 3.8/c5 vert and an 86 3.8L/c5 and love them both...
