Will FMS Tall valve covers clear a Performer Intake?

5L plus: AFR 165's Edelbrock Performer IM FMS Tall Valve Covers Anyone know if these valve covers will be too tall for the IM, or if I can use the stock valve covers in these heads? Thanks

AFR 165's on my blown 93?

Good stuff. I'm not expecting 400hp on a MD, on a dynojet maybe. Good idea about the 1.7's. They're the 58cc ones so I'm wondring if my cr will go up a ton over stock.

AFR 165's on my blown 93?

I'm thinking about some used AFR 165's with 1.6 crane energizer rockers for sale. My car has: Powerdyne blower - 6.5psi Edelbrock Performer intake 75mmTB 70mm MAF 30lb injectors never had the valve covers off. 65k mi. It made 318whp/340wtq on a MD a few weeks ago and I'm wondering...

    Dynoe'd the 5.0 today - 318hp/340tq stock heads

I wouldn't buy one. This one came on the car when I bought it. I've dumped money into it to keep it running. I recommend a Novi1000, or even better, a turbo. 1SLO306, MD are conservative for sure. When I had the car tuned a few yrs ago (stock TB and IM) it made 335hp/358tq on a Dynojet. MD are...

    Dynoe'd the 5.0 today - 318hp/340tq stock heads

I imagine a set of edelbrock heads would bring the power up about 45hp more. The dynotuning was $90CAN/hr. There wasn't much to tune since I had it done 2yrs ago, but with the new IM, TB, and different blower pulley I wanted to check (no more boost seen for some reason). The light are on...
