Well, it was the mass air meter. I replaced it with my buddies on a whim and lo-and-behold.....It ran perfect. Ran the codes again and there were none. Put mine back in and it ran bad again and threw up the same codes...who would have thought....Bought a new one and put it in. SWEET

I searched and found nothing quite close enough to mine so here it goes... Bone stock '93 lx 5.0. Nothing has been removed...it's a virgin, all orig. It starts perfect, idles and you can't even tell it's on. Go to take off and I get about 4 popping sounds in the intake in very rapid...

Problem solved. I got to talking with the body guy and asked if could weld real good. He said yes and I offered that he should weld the hole, grind it down and then re-drill the hole. He thought it was such a great ides he did it for free to see if it would work. It did! PERFECT... 1993ssp...

I found the repair kit from 50resto, I bought them. I even bought the oversized ones they offered. Too small. Mine is worn pretty well. I looked in the parts stores and the biggest I found had an outside diameter of 13mm where the grooves are. This is just barely too small. So I figured if I can...

I bought their "oversized" repair kit and it isn't big enough. Had the body shop look for a bigger set and the biggest they carried was 13mm for a Camaro. I just don't know where to look. Tried all the parts stores.

I have a really worn out door hinge but, I can't get a set of hinges right now. Does anyone have a supplier to get a door hinge repair kit that has a 14mm outside diameter bushings. The biggest the parts store has is a 13mm from a Camaro door kit. It's just too small.

Well, that sucks. With the chart the trans also shows it's from a 3.8 v-6. He got the shaft...

Quick question....My buddy can get a t-5 for his 88Gt but it is from a 95Gt. Is everything the same or are there any differences.:shrug:

I found one with the typhoon manifold, elbo and fuel rails for less then $500.00. Right now I just have exhaust and cold air but want to do the intake when I do the Thumper heads and Steeda 18 cam

If so how'd it do? I like the idea of not pulling the upper to mess with the valve train.

SWEET. I don't mind having to get high flow cats x-pipe....I just hate the smog pump.

I need new seats in my 93LX. I found a guy with 88 GT seats at a steal and want to get them. The question is....Will they fit the same or are there any mods to be made?

The father in law said all they did to his Explorer was put it on the lift, check and see if there were cats and took his money. I just don't wanna keep going with my mods if they look and see if the smog pump is still in there.
