    Had both...don't miss the IRS one bit. If you are going to go with a blower, get a solid and beef it up. Uppers/lowers, gears, axles.....call it a day. You will be happy. I did everything to that POS IRS to try and make it work with the power and it never was fun until I got the solid.

    A custom tune could pick you up 10-15RWHP. Maybe more maybe less. I haven't spent any time researching the flash tuners so I can't help you there. From the limited information I have read it seems the handhelds to offer a lot. Hope someone else can help you out.

    Trying to buy this 97SVT with a Vortech-S-Trim

    Just removing the mid-pipe wouldn't throw the tune off that bad....not even close. Sounds like either a motor issue, bad spark, or bad gas. I would stay clear of a s/c car that doesn't run right and the owner has excuses.

    Any Suggestion for future mods???

    Everything is controlled through the computer....a tune can up timing, change the a/f maps, and compensate for the gear change. I don't think a tune will give you 15RWHP though. Since you added the JBA's your a/f ratio may have been affected, so a tune would probably make the car feel stronger...
