    Need help bad...

Sears carries bolt extractor sets. Just carefully drill out the middle of the bolt with a carbide drill bit and make sure its the right size for the extractor you use, tap in the extractor and then turn the bolt out. Had to do this twice on my Jeep :bang:

    ethanol

Turbomustangs.com ran a test with a twin turbo setup on E85 and made 1000+ RWHP. http://www.turbomustangs.com/techarticles/e85dyno.php Ethanol has a very high octane content and that makes it ideal for super/turbocharged or high compression engines. E85 has an octane content of 104-108 or so...

Do I have all I need for brakes?

Thats most of what you will need. One thing though, don't get the PV from a 94-04, you will need to gut your stock PV and get an adjustable PV to add between the MC and rear brakes to set the front-rear bias. You will also need to get the e-brake cables and modify your e-brake hande to work with...

    do these fit??

You should have no problem with fitting the 13" rotors on 94 spindles. 94-04 Cobra front brakes will work on 94-98 spindles. You just need the caliper brackets to work with the increase hat height. As far as wheels go any 94-04 17" rim should clear the 13" rotor, the only problem comes with the...

8.8 ring & pinion from explorer

You should check the pinion depth if switching gears, if your pinion is off it will change the wear pattern and could really screw things up. The shim hight will probably be the same, mine was with new ford 3.55's, but just to be on the safe side I would check. Get a intallation kit, it should...

    T-5 QUESTION

You could probably wire it closed so the computer still thinks the car is in neutral, that way you can still dump codes.

    mach 1 brakes

The best site for brake upgrade info is http://mjbobbitt.home.comcast.net/mustang/5lug.html There are two possiblities, 1. You might be able to use the Mach 1 caliper brackets if you cut them and mount them on the other side of the axle flange. Thats what I'm planning to do with the Cobra...

Why doesn't my fuel gauge work?

I would start by checking the fuel sending unit. I just replaced mine while doing the fuel pump and after 6 years with no fuel guage its finally working :nice: Put a multimeter on the sending unit to check its resistance through its range of motion, resistance should increase as the float...

    Convertable door problem

You may need to adjust the window itself. If the 1/4 window and front window don't mesh with the top down then the 1/4 window probably needs to be adjusted, which can be a PITA.

    Planning on removing smog pump.

Why? For one if your running a midpipe with no cats then there is no reason at all to have a smog pump. 2 - You can get all that crap out of the engine bay and it looks so much better. But on the other hand if you have to pass emissions then I would definitly leave it in there, you would...

axle bearings and race removal questions

I just did mine and what I did since I didn't have a slide hammer was use a long bold about 4" and about 3-4 washers that were just slightly smaller than the bearing, a nut and pickle fork (you could use anything that will span the outside lips of the housing and let the bolt go through the...

    GT rear disk to CObra

Don't quote me on this but I believe that what you need are cobra pads, they are thinner I think to work with the wider cobra rotors.

New Exhaust installed but I have leaks??

Maybe try loosening the bolts up some and using a hammer to tap the flange around to get it seated better. Even if it doesn't hurt performance smelling the exhaust all the time wouldn't be much fun.

    Is My Tranny Going Out

If you have an adjustable cable or firewall adjuster I would try tightening the cable up a bit, also might check the tranny fluid level. For that price though, I would pick the Tremec up as a backup, never know when you might need another tranny, plus I don't know exact #'s but I know it can...

    Another Axle question drum-disc

As far as axle length goes there is no difference that I'm aware of, and as far as I know disks will work on any fox using drums. If you are going with stock axle length then you will need an offset caliper bracket like the North Racecars Cobra bracket (...

    5-lug conversion post #4,080

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think that you can use SN95 axles with drums. All SN95's are disk and use a caliper bracket with an offset to line the rotor and caliper up, using drums with sn95 axles would move the drum out 3/4" so it wouldn't be making much contact with the brake shoes.
