    WOW!

Yep, we're still alive and kicking. It's one of the few forums that's had the staying power...the others I was once a part of have all fizzled out. :SN:

    Fuel tank pressure sensor

Honestly I haven't done anything yet. But I will be keeping it in mind and most likely go this route when I'm able to get this done.

    My new II

Welcome aboard! I'm a former II owner myself (how my username was derived)....had a '77 Ghia back in the day and the IIs still hold a place in my heart. Yours is looking good! Always love a sharp looking II.

Hello! New to the site from MD

Hello neighbor! Where in AA are you? I'm in Churchton, down in south county, as you can see in my sidebar. Grew up in Arnold, also lived in Crownsville and West Annapolis. Currently have a 2003 GT, also in my avatar. Had a '77 Mustang II Ghia years ago as my first car. Also had a red '99 V6...

    Terminator vinly decal

That's probably gonna be a custom job. I don't know that '03-'04 Cobras actually had that on them. The "Terminator" name isn't really anything official from Ford...yes, that was the internal code name for Cobras of those years, but it never actually made it out into the wild officially.

Worth a shot I suppose! Thanks.

    Fuel tank pressure sensor

Does anybody know of a source for a new FTP sensor for an '03 GT? Apparently these things are unobtainium from Ford and in the aftermarket and of course my GT's in need of one. I know I could probably try a salvage yard, but I run the risk of being in the same boat as I am now. The labor...

    Detroit Auto Show 2022

Definitely. I know the modern EcoBoost could dust my 19-year-old V8, but yes, the V8 is the way to go. I would probably even at least spring for the Dark Horse or hold off until the Shelby/Cobra/whatever offering is available. It's just the natural progression. I've had the base model, then I...

    Detroit Auto Show 2022

Were HP numbers given for the EcoBoost? Just curious, though not sure why...not like I'll be getting an S650 and if I could, it'd be at least the GT.

Shouldn't the forum reference 2024+ instead of 2023+?

    The First S650 Forum Thread

During the reveal, they said 480 for the GT and 500 for the Dark Horse. Oddly they just completely ignored the EcoBoost during the event.

    2024 Mustang

Just caught the 2024 reveal on Ford's YT channel. They didn't dive into specifics a whole lot but did mention the GT will have 480 hp now. Manual transmission still available. Didn't say what the EcoBoost will have. There's a new model thats just a notch above the GT known as the "Dark Horse."...

    Weird brake light issue

If you're talking about the bulbs closest to the middle of the car on each side not lighting up with the brakes applied, I'm fairly certain that they're not supposed to light up. Just the middle and outer-most bulbs. The inner-most bulbs are just running lights.

    Chevy 2.7 turbos?

Anybody have any thoughts on Chevy's 2.7L turbo offering? My BIL is looking at getting a new Silverado and it looks like a majority of the available listings have them equipped with this turbo 4-cylinder. Some have the V8 and the six is darn near impossible to find. He's just looking for...

    19 years and counting

I was the same way. Didn't know how to drive a manual, yet it was a requirement for me when I bought it. My dad had to drive it home from the dealer for me! I had to go to work for the day after that, so the next day we went out and I figured it out. Took me just a couple days before I was...

    19 years and counting

Today marks the 19th "anniversary" of owning my 2003 GT. I bought it new on June 21st, 2003 and been loving it ever since. It was my daily for its first 11 years but now only gets driven when conditions are clear. It has just shy of 191K miles on it.
