Working on the 1989 LX 5.0 /AOD higher mileage car. Runs good, except fuel pump does not shut off at pre-start prime (KOEO) and car "hiccups" repeatedly above 4000rpm at WOT. Plugs, wires, cap, rotor and fuel filter all done a few months ago. Fuel pump relay replaced - no change. Pulling codes...

Anybody in the market for a Saleen might want to avoid the Ebay auction for 00-0007... Seems to be conspicuously absent from the registry, among other "problems"...:nono: I've emailed the seller - we'll see if he changes the auction or not.:shrug:

Started on the brake upgrade last night. Only had an hour, so I just got the car on stands, wheels off, and drained the rearend. I'm doing the Mach I 13" F & 12" R setup with plain black calipers and plain rotors - want it to "look stock", but stop better and fill the wheels a little more. ;)...

Still needs a GOOD cleaning. Front bumper cover was repainted, and they left the numbers off (I intend to replace), but the underhood and dash plates are both there. Saleen signed the dash & radiator cover. Runs pretty well..... :D Supercharger, mats, Ford Leather were all original...
