    I think the cheapness comes from the fact the the V6's have the stripe down the side. That's what does it for me.

    I totally agree with you, Flash. That was one of the things I was counting on to change from the current interior. Why is it still recessed? Why did they continue this trend? It doesn't make any sense.

    Struts/Shocks....which way to go??

    I would have to say a big "no". An 03/04 Cobra already has Bilstein struts/shocks. They are said known to be great for both comfort and handling. Considering that you are more concerned about the ride, I would say that you'd be crazy to change them out.

    You didn't get an 03 Cobra because of the seats? You won't get an 07 Cobra if the seats don't meet your expectations? IMO, that is a pretty ridiculous reason (if that is the only one). If they bother you that much, switch them out! We aren't driving Bimmers here, guy. The current Cobra costs...

    Well, therein lies the rub. It's hard to say which one you like better because the 05 is not released . Some would say to wait until September/October and make your comparison at that point. But I am not one of those people. My vote? Cobra. :p

    Wheels and Tires

    A 55 series profile? That is a total joke. That is a huge difference from what we have now. I wonder why with this car they had to use that profile with the 17". The only way to get match the tire diameter (move up to the 45 profile) is to go to 18's. I would love to get an explanation...

    Definitely go for the V8! Can you mod a V6 to make 300+ HP? Sure. Can you mod it to have the same characteristics as a V8 (power band, peak torque, etc.)? No. Don't get me wrong, people who buy the V6 are going to get a quality car that will be competive with other cars in the segment...

    I agree. To say that there will be no Mach 1 is premature. The Mach 1 was a huge success and as someone mentioned, would be quite appropriate for the new Mustang platform. It might not be the first special edition Mustang, but I think we'll see it on the S197 at some point.

    Aesthetically, I do like 18's. They look really good on the show cars that have been circulating at the auto shows. That being said, I have the Bullitt's on my current GT and I like the look. I really don't have an issue settling for a 17 inch rim. I don't even have an issue with losing 10mm...
