Hey guys, just like it says... I have an increadible offer for some anthracite bullitts 17 / 8's up front and deep dish 17's for the rear. Does anyone have pictures of the anthracite bullitts on a black 94 - 98 body?? I think it would look good, but just wanted an idea. Thanks

It probably depends on what you need done and where you bought it. I bought mine from M Depot and they didn't charge me 6 months later to turn off my automatic stuff when I swapped trannies. My computer wouldn't work with the drivers either... until I realized I had windows 98 :)

You will find plenty if you do a search. I recently finished mine and off hand you'll need.... tranny, flywheel, clutch, clutch fork, clutch cable, pedal assembly, manual computer or tune, shifter, driveshaft. I don't reccomend it for a novice, but if you know what you're doing it's not...

Ok guys... I got the plenum off with a little work and 4 out of 5 of the helicoils came out off the holes in the process. They just spun out with the bolts! I still plan on using studs instead of bolts but does anyone have suggestions on putting the helicoils back in?? The holes go pretty...

If you download all the software I think you can change just about everything... For starting off, I'd try and make sure to get a custom tune made for your specific application and you can tweek it from there.

I ordered mine from MDepot and they gave me 2 custom tunes. I think most places do and you can have them pretty much any variation you want. I did the same tune for different injector sizes.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.. my plans are to "try" and cut off the heads, remove the studs and install new brass pieces with a strong adhesive. I figure swapping to studs will help too. Might take a little while but I'll post back with results and shoot me any more suggestions. Thanks

Yea, the heads have little notches where the intake gaskets sit so it's pretty hard to screw up. Don't forget to drain enough coolant so you don't end up with a temporary wet valley like me lol Mine still held alot off coolant after it cracked..

I bought SUV jackstands so I easily lifted the entire car off the ground 2 feet... its nice!

It's just like doing a 5.0 intake in that if you keep an eye where everything goes it's a piece of cake.. only no RTV!! If you're swapping to a PI intake you have to make sure to get the PI coolant tube that goes under the intake along with the pressed in nipple that goes behind the waterpump.

I did mine with a PI intake so... not sure which helped more.. but together they felt like doing 4.10's in my 5.0. Big seat in the pants difference!

I would reccomend an Xcalibrator 2. I love mine and it gives you room for the future. You can adjust for different tires, gear, timing... all without needing a retune. Plus if you do more significant mods in the future you can have a dyno tune done using it. Just a thought, Jason
