    Car won't start.....sometimes?!?!

I've had this problem for about 3 months now and it's really unpredictable. My 89 will start almost every time, but there are times like last night when my car won't start. I was trying to turn it over, and I kept thinking something wasn't right, until I realized that the fuel pump wasn't...

    shifting problems

eek, I'm going through the same thing with my T5, but today it really started giving me fits. I guess this will be my weekend project. *sigh*

    V8 base Mustang

I don't think it is easier to custom build a vehicle now. I know when I bought my 2001 F250, after adding all the options I wanted, it was cheaper just to get the Lariat package and getting some extras I didn't want, but didn't bother me, such as the 6 disc cd changer, I guess cause it is so...

From LS1.com - Lutz says no new Camaro

True, I think thats when Ford will start to think up the GT500, Bosses, whatever special models that they want to incorporate. It makes some since, after a few years, and news dies down, a special model would boost sells again. Of course, if you can wait a couple of years, which I plan to do...

Yeah, WTH is up with this "kiss me" stuff? I've seen it in a couple of posts.

Something to considor while waiting for 05

Ouch, thats gonna take some serious cash to fix. OT: I was looking around, and I saw this. I think it might outrun the Enzo Edit: Just saw somebody else had posted it in another topic, heh, I'm just not fast enough

It says invalid item, I guess they removed it? Does anyone have a picture of what it looked like damaged?

sub $20k V8 rumor strikes again

Yeah, but it didn't come from the Internet initially. Mays himself said both would start under $20,000, and until I see something more recent than what he said in January from Ford, I gotta give it a little credit. But I'm not entirely follwing it, I have my doubts, but a man can dream can't he...

    Ugh... Makes me sick.

Hmmm, I never really remember J. Mays or anyone at Ford saying that the 20K figure was a mistake. Maybe you have special access to Ford, or can read peoples minds through videos of people giving speeches  As far I'm concerned, the only proof we have of prices is what he said at...

    The Complaint Department

First off, there is already a complaint thread.(If Tyler moves this into the complaint thread, then forget that). Second, the mufflers are like that just so the gas tank is farther up, primarily safety reasons, but I'm sure that the aftermarket will have solutions to your problem as soon as...

    89 gauges

My 89 has 140mph speedo, it was a running upgrade in 1989, when they ran out of 85mph speedos. I'm not sure if the 1990 will fit because of the air bag, usually they don't have white gauges for 1989 with a 140mph speedo, just 85mph.

    The $20K V8 thread

No, no, no. What Tyler is saying it is not going to be a GT package, just something to the effect of a V8 in a V6 body, like he said, like the LX during the Fox Body years. J. Mays did say there were 2 engines options, both starting under $20k, nothing about a GT appearance packages or the sort...

    The Complaint Department

Tyler moved the thread I orginally posted in to this one, so I can probably delete that part of my post. Sorry for the confusion, I'm not that stupid, haha. Thanks a lot Tyler, you ruined my reputation, sheesh! Haha, jk

Where to get a tmoss intake!!

I think that a with some slicks and tmoss lower with thumpers heads, you should be able to hit mid 13's. From what I've read, the stock cam is pretty good for mild mods.

    The Complaint Department

If you wanted the concept you can do pretty much 2 things: wait till Ford puts it up for auction, like they sometimes do. Or you can build your own from the ground up. When Ford built the concept, they didn't have to take in account safety requirements, like proper bumpers. And the head lights...

    The $20K V8 thread

Woot Woot!! Get after it tyler!! All kidding aside, I still say that if J. Mays had messed up the presentation in that video, then Ford would probably send out a correction statement of some sort. But I have to admit, if it's a flub, it's one of the biggest flubs in Ford's history.

    The $20K V8 thread

I know what you mean. We bought a 2001 F-250, and started putting options on it, such as leather seats, 6 cd changer, etc. We soon figured out that if we just opted for the Lariat package that included all of the options we wanted, the price was actually a little less. So yeah, a 20K base car...

    The $20K V8 thread

Arggg, were not even talking about a GT package, just a body with a V8. And I tend to think that the 27K is kind of extreme, maybe for the convertible? The GT and LX of the Fox Body years had exactly the same engine, tranny, but just a different body. And that was a 6K difference, so...

    The $20K V8 thread

Did you hear J. Mays give his speech? He was very specific, stating that both a 200 and 300 hp Mustang would be released under 20 grand. I don't think it was a mistake, because a correction statement was never released, and I believe that Ford would want to correct a mistake like that. And I...

    The $20K V8 thread

I dunno about the Mustang, but I know my old 97 F-150 came with a manual roll up windows, it was bare bone stock, just to have as a farm truck, and the dirt would mess with the electronics. Maybe you could get one out of a truck and fab something up?
