Depending on driver skill and traction the LT1 should be capable of pulling low 14s.

I prefer the feel of a hard shifting auto.

I figured that. I dont really want anything as high as 3.73s. Im thinking 3.42s. While this wont be my daily driver it will probably see quite a bit of highway driving. Edit: Also, any suggestions on where to get parts from? Preferably an internet site. Thanks.

Im considering a 94-95 GT as my next car. What will it need to run with an LT1 Z28(which is what my previous car was)? Right now this is what Im thinking. MAF Edlebrock Performer RPM intake Steeda CAI Long Tube headers Magnaflow OR H-pipe Magnaflow catback 2800rpm stall converter...

Those are probably L98 vettes. I know an LT1 Z28 will dyno in at around 223RWHP stock. So an LT1 vette should dyno in fair amount higher.

Alright. I recently sold my 95 Z28 because I was going to get an old muscle car. However I have since change my career choice and I will have to commute to work(live in a town of about 2500 people). Which means I will need decent gas mileage(20+). I know I can get around 24+MPG on the highway...

Dang, talk about a sleeper! For those bashing old VWs.. I dare you to post that at Shoptalkforums, Aircooled VWs. There are LOTS of old style street VW Beetles out there that run 12s all day long, and are still pretty comfortable, quiet(other than exhuast) and cruise nice. So try learning...
