    I have noticed a bit of a decline in mileage... It's not much, though... Maybe 20 miles per tank.

    I used a 10" extension, universal joint, and a 15mm long drive socket. It was also alot easier by removing that little brace that goes across the K member. My frined and I unbolted one side, loosened the other, and swung it out of the way. It gave us more room to work with.

    Like StangLou is saying, no harm will be done if you correctly install the shift stops. If you paid any attention when you were setting the shift stops per your installation manual, you will notice that there should be about a 1/20th of an inch or so gap between the stop bolt and the shifter...

    That's the gear whine. It's perfectly normal. It's especially noticable when you're off the throttle in low gears.

    spin, spin, spin!!!! that's what's happening. the stock tires sometimes make a scratching noise so it's kind of hard to hear. i've got 4.10s and they like to spiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!
