    89 5.0L Block

Yes. Standard bore. Took it out of my brother's rotted stang and stripped it down and that's it. It's been sitting in my garage on a stand since then. Thanks for your reply.

    89 5.0L Block

I have a block that came out of a running 89 LX with manual trans that belonged to my brother. I was going to build a stroker for my 92 and swap when it became ready. But, life happens and it's been a number of years and I don't think I'm going to get around to it. Looking to part with it and I...

The (near) Future is Not Electric

I work in the industry and have worked on the technical aspects of componentry in the 2022 Lightning. My jobs depends (somewhat) on the implementation of EVs. However, I have no desire to own one. I picked up a 6.2L Escalade as my daily driver this year. LOL. There have been a ton of good...

    windshield wiper issue

A number of years ago, I had a wiper problem. I don't recall if it operated only at one speed or if it was totally dead. In any case, the wipers worked fine during dry weather. But, wet weather (when you really need the wipers), they would freeze up. A tap on the motor with a Mag Light got...

Fox body notchback trunk release...where to get?

Thanks. But, I couldn't find it there. They have door latches, hood latches...but no trunk latches. I guess I'll have to go the used route. Thanks!

Bump. I know somebody out there has the answer to this.

    Cam Question

I have the B303 and I'm happy with it...mostly because I'm running 3.73 gears. Also, even though it isn't emissions legal, I passed the IL emissions test multiple times with this cam. Thankfully, they've discontinued the testing on cars older than 96. YES!!

    Charging Problem HELP!!!

The charging systems in these cars are notoriously weak. I think the stock alternator is only 75A. I had trouble for years...particularly in rainy or snowy conditions at night. When you have the wipers, headlights, and defoggers on...the voltage really drops from the load. A solution I...

about after painting, when should i buff the car???

Just don't wait too long. The job will get more difficult if you let the paint harden longer. I did a urathane clearcoat on mine in a heated spraybooth. I started wetsanding within a few days. Fun stuff...but the results are awesome.

    Radiator help

I installed the Motorsport "Cobra" radiator in my 92. That was...OMG...10 years ago! It's a great radiator for a decent price...assuming it's still available. I think I paid around $159 at Summit. It's about 2" thick tho...and the stock brackets don't fit very well. You can make it work...

Fox body notchback trunk release...where to get?

Hey guys, I have a 92 notchback with a bum trunk release solenoid. The Ford dealer says it's discontinued. Are there any aftermarket sources you know of that have it? If not, I guess I'll shop in the used parts isle. Thanks!

    Got IRS??

I don't believe so. I seem to recall the Cobra IRS was a completely designed from the ground up.

Can I remove the three small metal box's behind front frame/bumper? Airbags?

Yes, true...but I imagine seatbelts save far more. There are plenty of Mustangs (and other cars) out there without airbags and they're perfectly fine. Just wear your seatbelt.

    need help!!!!

You will probably need to run 93 octane gas if you do this.

    cigarette lighter help

I imagine the radio circuit has a fuse on it already...so assuming the fuse is matched to the wire you used it should be safe (but probably not ideal). When I say a fuse is matched to the wire, I mean the fuse rating is not too big to protect 18AWG (knowing the insulation material is...

19mm Wrench went THROUGH my trunkpan pics...

At least it's in a place that's not clearly visable.

Help with buzzing relay !!! Electrical gurus come in!!!

Ah, that's different! Suppression on the load will help dissipate the energy in the load at shut-off. Just make sure you're using a snubber up to the task. If it's too wimpy, it will probably smoke. That's not good...

how will the B-cam act over stock?

Always good advice. But, I'm running the B303 and 1.7 rockers with no problems. I have the stock heads and head gaskets. I have not removed the heads at all in the life of the vehicle.

What do you guys really think about K&N air filters

I've been running a K&N for over 100k miles on my Mustang. I also have the original MAF sensor in the car. No problems at all.
