    Those Who Removed Smog

How about half of these cars have been hacked up already when bought, and that's usually one of the first things to get yanked by previous owners! (at least that's my excuse) :) Scott

    calling all cops!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey man you keep asking if anyone else cares about this, well of course people care but as 88stangmangt just wrote there isn't a hell of a lot anyone else can do for you here, you have to do it yourself- if that means getting the fbi involved or knowing in the future not to buy anything unless...

    calling all cops!!!!!!!!!!!

Both those names look familiar to me, which leads to this question- can the moderators create some sort of "blackballed" list or something, a list that provides names of those who have screwed people in here? I know sites have trader ratings and stuff like that, but I think a FAQ or something...

    cheapest 5 speed swap

More than once I've read where folks get parts cars for very little money- where on earth did you find a gt for 200 bucks? Around here, even if the damn thing is in 500 pieces, people still want way too much for stangs. I wish I could get a parts car for a similar price. By the way, that is a...

    cheapest 5 speed swap

Well I for one would definitely do it- I am going to be doing this in a few weeks. As for the cheapest way, well I guess you could go to any junkyards and look for the parts, it's basically a pedal/tranny install plus a clutch job. Tons of posts/info in here about this swap. I have been saving...

What the HECK major backfire now!! Any ideas??

Not 100% sure, but whenever I've had LOUD backfires (not the little ones from running rich) it's almost always been a problem with either the distributor or the plug wires. Keep checking those, I guess, it sounds like some wires may be crossed...there's also a diagram somewhere in here that...

    Does this FP sound right?

    WHO SELLS EGR DELETE PLATE?

Actually, my post(s) were intended to answer his question about where he could find this part- I do in fact know all too well about the egr and it's functions, and how silly it is to remove it in most applications. Now, this thread has info about where to find the part as well as info on why not...

    WHO SELLS EGR DELETE PLATE?

If the egr setup is the same on your 95 as it is on my 88, then you can get the part for 17 bucks shipped at UPR products.com. If not, sorry I took up your time. edit- sorry, just looked and it isn't, I don't know where you can find it.

TB not opening all the way...HELP

I'm not sure, but I think the tension in the cable can be adjusted somehow- I had a similar problem because believe it or not, the carpet was not letting the pedal go all the way down. I cut the carpet and it was fixed.

    WHO SELLS EGR DELETE PLATE?

I got one from UPR last week, they were delayed because their computer system went down, at least that's what the guy who called me told me. He took my info down again over the phone, and I got it a few days later. 17 bucks including shipping. All it is is a piece of metal with 2 holes drilled...

Does engine need to be grounded?

When my motor was replaced, the shop took the little ground off the back of the motor and never put it back on- does this need to be put on, or does it not matter? Is this the only engine ground on the Mustangs? Could this be robbing me of power? Thanks for any info.

    AOD, F-cam,Trick Flow's, mistake?

I have the combo below with a stock AOD & stock converter, and it's really holding me back, I managed to get a 13.5 yesterday after a day of 14's and even a 15.04 last weekend. Everyone I know is telling me that a 3000 stall will make all the difference. I am also missing my cam's power range...

    pro m mass air sensor

It seems like people are split right down the middle on this- Pro-M versus C&L. Can't explain what your problem might be, but I would send it back and stick to what works for you (the C&L in this case). I've had a C&L for 2 seasons now and no complaints yet, have heard the same from Pro-M users...

    IAC adjuster help!

When I put my motor in from DSS (306), the literature they sent with it recommended a higher idle, around 1200! I went and got the IAC adjuster but have not put it on yet, so I guess I am hoping to have your "problem"!

DON'T BUY GAS ON MAY 19TH!!!!

Look at it this way, the difference between gas being 1.80 a gallon and 2.25 a gallon (for 93 octane here in NY) amounts to a savings of 5.40 a tank in a stang- this is about the cost of buying some pig a drink the next time you go to a singles bar. I still think it sucks, though! :bs:

DON'T BUY GAS ON MAY 19TH!!!!

Gas is still a bargain compared to other places, huh? You know, Corvettes are still a lot cheaper than Lambourghinis, but I will still never be able to afford one- get the point? Just because gas is cheaper in th US doesn't mean it should be rising uncontrollably by the week. I do agree...
