Hey guys I have a question. I found an ad for a C&L 80mm mass air off of a 96 Cobra, I have a 97 Cobra and have been in the market for one, the ad states its already calibrated for 24lb injectors which I have so i'm looking into buying it. My question is according to the pic it doesn't appear...

well if you get bigger injectors (which I don't think will help, JMO) your mass air will have to be recalibrated to the size of the injectors...so yes you'll need a new mass air. And I do believe that your Diablo will have to be retuned with the new mass air and injector sizes.......hope this...

Mine is not, although today i wish i would of taken the Ranger to work its raining like crazy outside, (drag radials = no traction since there bald) I have about 70k on my '97 and about 5k on the new bottom end, the '96 Ranger is my war truck w/ 167k miles and runs like a champ.....lol....

well i'm not sure what the knocking noise could be, but I wouldn't recommend beating on the motor with only a week of a break in period, how many miles did you put on it after the rebuild? I put 1000k miles on mine before I took it past 5000rpms but thats just me.....
