Drove a 05 for 28 miles - and got paid for it!

Nevermind - I don't know where I got that. Damn these 12 hour work days - my brian's fried, I swore he said that and I went back and looked again and it wasn't there go figure.

Drove a 05 for 28 miles - and got paid for it!

I'm surprised that no one noticed that in the intial message he made a negative comment about the Mustang's ride quality and in his message later he indicated that the rides of the 350Z, the GTO and the Stang were all about the same!

What kind of Gas will you put in your new 05 GT?????

The guy above quoting Car and Driver is just plain wrong. I remember that article. The cars he's talking about REQUIRE premium and when they didn't use premium they lost alittle HP. With modern knock sensors you don't get detonation, the computers compensate and you loose a small bit of...

The best news we could get beofre the 05 bows

The 2.0L was never available in the minivans. Back in the 1st gen they had the old school 2.2 chrysler, 2.5L chrysler w/ balance shafts and early on the mitsu 2.6L. The current gen and last gen only had the 2.4L. The 2.0L was primarily in the neons and the plymouth breezes. Head gaskets...

The best news we could get beofre the 05 bows

Actually most of the chrysler minivans blowing blue smoke are the older models with the 3.0L V-6 which was... designed and manufactured by Mitsubishi. Those engines had terrible valve seals and all burn oil. The chrysler engines (the 3.3 / 3.8L pushrod motors or the 2.4L 4) are generally fine...

    Is this price right?

Vortech doesn't make their "cheap" (the A-trim or the SC trim now) superchargers for the 94/95s - only for the foxes.

    ~Clutch chatter~

Many aftermarket clutches do chatter until they are broken in. My SPEC Stage one was bad for the first few hundred miles, after that it's been fine. Give this one a chance first.

Check out this 95 on ebay! 450hp. No power adder.

Notice he took a picture of his hot air intake!! I don't think that Edlebrock intake is suitable to supply air up to 8500 RPM even if (by some chance in hell) the engine could rev that high.

    Super stiff clutch

I've heard that the Ford cables are the best. MM only sells OEM ford cables to go along with their quadrants.

    5psi Vortech

No one (exept powerdyne) makes the "cheap kits" for the 94/95s. The only new Vortech available is the 3,000+ dollar S-trim which is obviously a great blower but more money than the <2,000 model you are talking about (which is fox only)

    Ford Racing Supercharger

I say yes. Plenty will say no - you'll have to make the decision yourself. I recommend you search the Supercharger forum at the corral - you'll find tons of threads on powerdynes. That should help you make up your mind.

    Ford Racing Supercharger

Powerdyne warranties the Ford Racing Superchargers (for two years like the ones they sell under their name). If you are looking for a street blower and don't plan on making alot of boost, then its not bad for the money. I'm very happy with mine. The install was easy and I haven't had any...

    Quick H-pipe question

Are the stock H-pipes from a fox GT and a 94/95 GT interchangable? Thanks, Greg

    Buying a 5.0 off Ebay...Help Please

Oh and I love my car and all but to invest 51,000 grand in a 94 Mustang??? Unless you're a professional racer making money from winning sor own a performance shop or money is no object. The mustang is about bang for the buck, being cheap, fast, easy to work on and fun. Once you've spent 51Gs...

    Buying a 5.0 off Ebay...Help Please

That's just insane!! (and not in a good way).

Anyone have info on this supercharger kit?

I'm very happy with mine and it's a good blower IF you don't overspin it. If you plan on racing or running greater than 9lbs of boost, then you should go with a Vortech etc. but for a low priced street blower it gets the job done and if the belt breaks or bearings go you can fix it yourself...

    Spec Stage 2 Clutch

The TOB on my Stage 1 squeaks too and has since it was installed at the end of this summer (it's not my daily driver so I've put less than 1000 miles on it). It was installed by a mechanic who knows what he's doing too. Had I known, I would have bought a Ford TOB instead.
