    Just get a MAF of desired diameter and tune the computer. Changing the size of the sample tube on C&L MAF's is more of a ballpark thing. It really doesn't take that much work, drive to a dyno, install the maf, tell the guy, 2-3 runs later, you have an accurate MAF and a lot more power to boot...

    Jay, thanks for the input on the signal being a pulse! What I'm trying to do is wire up a progressive LED rev counter. So it'd be helpful for me to know the ranges of Hz from idle to redline and if it is a logarithmic progression or not, that way I can ballpark the resistors per desired rpm...

    Haha yeah, I cut the throttle at 6000RPM. I don't know much about the TF1 cam or the springs in the performer heads, and I have stock lifters, so I worry about valve float. :scratch: I have some ported/milled holley 18 degree heads.. Pain in the ass to deal with though.
